Pixel phones typically use Google Cast (Chromecast), which works differently than Miracast. Samsung phones fully support Miracast, which allows them to connect and mirror immediately to the JVAW76. Even though the JVAW76 supports Google Cast, Google may have changed casting behavior on newer Pixel models, and in some cases the phone will connect to the casting device but not send video unless the app specifically supports Google Cast streaming.
