More than likely the issue is with the DirecTV app and not the ScreenCast. A number of apps have DRM built-in to prevent you from mirroring your device to a TV. They want you to only watch on your phone, or pay extra to be able to watch it on your TV.

A few troubleshooting steps that you may want to try: 1.Ensure your Internet web browser is fully up-to-date. 2.Test with another Internet web browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. 3.Restart your device and display. Content protected by HDCP may not play when connected to an unsupported display.
