I was able to use it on my laptop , running Windows 10, without having to load any additional drivers

It always worked on my surface pro then one day it was completely dead and i saw there was a new firmware for windows 10 i tried it but it was still completely dead. I got a new one and worked with no firmware update for the adapter but few new windows 10 updates
