• Try disconnecting the j5create adapter and reconnect your wireless mouse to see if it works. If it works, you may be experiencing RFI. Wireless interference from USB 3.0 devices, such as external HDD and other USD 3.0 removable media.

• Make sure you do not have this on a USB Hub and try your wireless device on other USB ports for be sure. I use a Logitech Wireless keyb/mouse combo right next to this device but I have the J5 on it's own dedicated USB3 port by itself. I hope this helps.
