• Yes it will be fully compatible with your connection. I've even used this with a USB-B to USB-C dongle adapter with an older laptop and it works perfectly fine.

• Yes, it will work on any USB-C port on a computer. However, the device does require you to install a driver for proper functionality. Drivers can be found on our website under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Drivers".
