Please try again later.If you have one of the smaller power blocks for your MacBook, you may have to invest in one of the larger blocks to supply enough wattage to power the rest of the dock. Borrow one if you can first to make sure it works...if not, you may have a bad dock and will have to get a new one. Plus, make you sure that the ports aren't shared, there are a couple of the ports that are shared and if you use one, you can't use the one the next door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, that is normal because the port is primary used to power your computer, but it does have the capabilities to power other usb ports, given a higher power supply unit. Preferably a 100 watt.
