If your device supports Display Port over USB-C then you should not need to install anything. If it does not then the software simulates that functionality. You may not be able to find out if your device does this without trying it. I would talk to your IT team first though to see if there is a dock that they recommend.

If you have a work computer, you may have to contact your IT department in order to see if they will allow you to install the software. The driver installation is for the VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI port to be able to allow up to 3 additional displays. The rest of the ports are Plug n Play. Another option is the JCD397 (4K60 Elite USB-C Triple-Monitor 10Gbps Mini Dock). However, this device requires a computer to have an available USB-C port that supports DisplayPort alternate mode and USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0, as well as Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and DisplayPort 1.4 to achieve triple-monitor configuration. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Their information can be found on our website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
