The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station works once it's connected to a computer to power on. The USB-C power-in port on the Dock allows additional power to the USB ports If you are using a high-powered USB device and provide pass-through charge. However, computers must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 for pass-through and DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out, as well as a driver for proper functionality on VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI port. You may use a 65W or higher power-brick to the Dock. The JUP2290 or JUP34108 power adapters will also work towards the Dock as well. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you don't need a bigger supply unless you try to run a lot of power hungry usb devices i.e. CD drives. Beware it is not a very good device mine caused numerus issues. If you have any issues take it back
