Note I have not yet used 3 external monitors: This is a "fine print" type situation. You must utilize the VGA jack for one of the monitors as the left HDMI jack and the middle Display Port jack is a "or" single-signal alternate pair -- you can use either jack but not both at the same time. I learned this post-purchase from YouTube reviews. I also purchased the JCD543 -- it does not come with a AC Adapter so I had to use my laptop's original AC Adapter. The JCD543P does come with a AC Adapter but it is about $40 more expensive retail. HTH Jay
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The HDMI or DP port requires DisplayPort Alt Mode to transmit audio and video signals. You will only be able to use one or the other, not at the same time. The VGA and stand alone HDMI port will require an installation of a driver for functionality. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab. To create a triple-monitor setup, use HDMI + VGA + DisplayPort or HDMI + VGA + HDMI. The USB-C power-in port on the Dock allows pass-through charge, as well as providing additional power to the other USB ports. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Their information can be found on our website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
