The only ports that will not work with Chrome OS is the VGA/HDMI and Mic ports. Those require an installation of a driver and is only available for Windows and Mac computers. The rest of the ports are PnP (Plug n Play). However, the Chromebook must support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" and "Power Delivery" through the USB-C port, for the DP or HDMI and Power-in ports to work. Without those features, the Dock will not function correctly. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Thank you.
