Firstly, 2019 MacBooks are running the newer Catalina system and since 5Create has yet to put forth drivers to support the Dock, you can't update for compatibility. So, long story only slightly longer, this product is rubbish for those on any Mac running Catalina.

Second, on Mac's in general, the key is in the system itself. You can hook up additional monitors (using Mohave only) using this type of peripheral, but you will only mirror the main screen as Apple's os does not yet allow for extended view. I'm not sure why not, but that's where we are at present. 

Finally, if you have a Microsoft computer running Windows, heck yes, you can 'extend' the screens using this dock. You will need to make some adjustments to the display settings but that's easily done. If you don't know how, simply look up a tutorial on youtube.

You can extend across 3. Right now I have it set up to extend (not duplicate) across my laptop and 2 external screens. But I believe you can extend across 3 external screens

It can extend displays, not just mirror. Be warned that if your running a mac with the latest OS this device will not work at the moment.

You can. I just found this out today, first off make sure that you are on the newest and correct driver. But the key is the SECOND HDMI port. One of them mirrors and only mirrors, the other does dual display.
