• I'm not sure what the oil field is like, but I work in an aluminum smelter where I expose them to high temperatures and they work perfectly, they also have pretty good dust protection, I think you'll love them.

The Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 earbuds have an IP68 rating which indicates they are dust tight and fully protected against the effects of temporary submersion in water. The submersion test requires 30 minutes at a depth of at least 1m/3ft. The charging case of the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 has an IP54 rating which indicates it is dust resistant and can resist water splashes from any direction.
