The charging case requires a wire to charge the case (for mine it is a USB to a USBc- this is why I went with the Elite Active 75 model as it is the same as my Galaxy phone). The ear buds wirelessly charge from the battery within the case. (I have Jabra Elite Active 75) The ear buds last about 7 hours, but can be recharged with the case, when the case is not plugged in. I get about another 2 full charges on the ear buds without having to recharge the case. Hope that helps.
