• It works for both actually you have to download the app to your phone to connect it. Which it will give yu instructions on how to connect it also.

• Nope - that isn't right. I used them with my iPhone 6 and now use them with my iPhone 7 with no problems!

• No I have an iPhone and it works great. It works through Bluetooth so as long as your phone has Bluetooth it will work
