“I know there is a maximum wattage it can recharge battery to. What size solar panel kit is recommended for the 5000 to charge up the quickest and or keep up with power demand ? Do the panels supply power to house first then sending excess power to bats?”

Hello, thank you for your question! Regarding the Explorer 5000 Plus, it can be paired with up to 2 × 500W solar panels or 6 × 200W solar panels. For faster charging and better ability to keep up with power demand, using higher wattage panels (such as the 500W panels) is recommended.
