Check to make sure the port is compatible with your DVD player (older ones less likely to be compatible). Also, google YouTube video of s customer’s review as it was very helpful to me when I was trying to decide if this was the right product for my needs. Lastly, you can always call Best Buy and ask one of the staff as they are very knowledgeable with the products that are sold in their store :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speaker works through Bluetooth; therefore you would need something to play the cd/dvd on that has Bluetooth capabilities. Depending on your cellphone, you could import the CD on to your phone (assuming it has blue tooth) or a Bluetooth capable Device like a iPod. I am not a tech person, so I suggest you ask the staff at Best Buy to be sure.
