• Yes you can use the charger in a moving car. The charging cable is very short about three or four inches long.

• Yes, I have had no problems charging them in my car with the USB.

• The charger snaps with a magnet. There is no physical holding force. If you have it dangling somewhere in your car then it will likely come off the charger if you make sharp turns or go over bumps.
