It sounds great just as you would expect JBL to sound. Don’t let the small subwoofer discourage you it sounds awesome. I have 2 of these sound bars & would recommend to anyone.
A:AnswerNo, they only sell them in sets . I had the same issue with my Samsung set up. Disappointed in the JBL system though it isn't very loud and nothing like surround in any way
A:AnswerOur JBL Bar 2.1 and JBL Bar 3.1 have a different subwoofers. These are standalone units and can't be paired with a later model or other speakers.
A:AnswerYes, the JBL 2.1 soundbar is meant to be used with your TV, when connected to it, all sounds that you normally get through the built-in speakers on your TV will be rerouted towards the soundbar.
A:AnswerYou only need to plug 1 HDMI cable from the TV to the sound bar. That’s all you need to hook up. Unplug the 1 to the cable box. Go into all settings on your TV and be sure to set to PCM and sound should come through the sound bar. I have the same TV. Also go into the regular sound settings and set to HDMI. I use a optical cable and mine sounds great.
