• What switch ? Use the optical cable for audio and the hdmi for tv but If both are on you will not create a sound because it will be crossed one has to be off either the tv and or the computer otherwise the sound from one will sound on the other

• The sound bar has Bluetooth, if your computer has Bluetooth you shouldn’t have any trouble connecting and changing it back and forth. The remote has a button for tv and a button for bluetooth. I connect my phone for music all the time.
