I do not recommend using the hardware they provide for mounting to the ceiling. Tried this and they vibrated off, luckily onto my couch. The furthest I placed them is 20ft and they work well. Dont put a wall directly between the rear and main speakers it will get choppy. Hope this helps. Also I made my mounts for the ceiling out of some flat stock aluminum I bought at homedepot, made making the bends easy. If you choose to do this, drill all your mounting wholes prior to bending.
