Our JBL Flip Boombox has 60 watts of power while our Boombox 2 has 80 watts. Our JBL Boombox 2 is indeed an improved version of its predecessor, Boombox. It has a more powerful sound of up to 2 x 40 watts RMS. It also has our newest Partyboost feature.
