• You have to pair it to your device , read manual

• Ours did that too. Tried to figure out why... But we ended up taking it back to Best Buy and got a new one. The new one works great so far.

• Try holding the Blue tooth button on the side and the O (Action Button on the top for 10 seconds. This should reset the processor. This can be done with the speaker on or off.

• Make sure you have your bluetooth turned on and you pair it up with the bluetooth on your phone, tablet or mp3 player etc. Then find some music and play it.
