“I have my charge5 for a few weeks now, and the other night it was on until the power ran out and it shut off. My question is did I compromise the battery's overall performance and charging capibilities-is the battery life shortened? Thanks”

If you plugged it in within a day or so to recharge, you will be fine. Nothing to worry about
