• Thanks for reaching out. Our products have been charged up ready for storage and shipping but not fully charged. it doesn't hurt anything to fully charge this speaker before using it. It doesn't hurt anything if you skip this step. To keep the battery healthy, it is not advisable to drain the battery before charging it, small, frequent charges are better than charging it 0-100% at a time.
