• Thanks for your question. When our JBL Cinema SB170 status indicator turns solid amber (orange) means that the optical source is selected. Solid red means entering standby mode. However, the main soundbar of our Cinema SB170 does not feature a blinking red light. For reference, please see the "Status Indicator" section on page 5 of the owner's manual, which outlines all standard indicator behaviors.
