• You should be fine, just make sure you have your gains and bass boost all the way down and slowly turn them up until you feel you’re pushing your sub the way they want bang. Don’t over do it though, this thing can and will fry subs. Killed my 450 watt 12” with this thing

• The JBL Club 5501 should be able to run your speaker fine with no problems; however, you would not be able to maximize its full power. It should do great on normal listening levels.
