“I've hooked up a Boss 10" 2100 watts dual 4ohm coil subwoofer to this amp and smoked it. Then 2 12" Pyle 1600 watts each dual 4 ohm subwoofers and also smoked them. What wattage do I need that will handle it???”

I’m not really sure. You might just be adjusting it wrong. I had one 10inch kicker sub hooked up to it an it sounded great never had an issue with it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The JBL amp that we had installed is trash. I would opt for a different amp before replacing speakers again. Amp probably has an internal short. We switched back to Kicker. Wish you well.
