Yes, I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max

Yes, when you connect them it will automatically have this setting applied. I had to go into setting to turn it off, as i prefer not to have that.

When connected to your iPhone 17, our JBL Endurance Peak 3 can have text messages read aloud and callers announced through the earbuds by enabling Siri’s "Announce Notifications" and "Announce Calls" features on your iPhone. Our Endurance Peak 3 does not have its own built-in text-reading system, it relies on whatever your phone and Siri support.
