Not waterproof but perspiration proof!

To some extent. They hold up really well to sweat though. I'm a heavy sweater when I run, and there's like puddles of sweat in my ears. They are probably one of he most reliable running headphones I've had. Some reviews talk about swimming with them. I would imagine you can get them wet, but they are most likely good up until a certain pressure rating of being submerged in water.

I use mine in the pool. They have gotten wet and still worked.
