- Answer JBL Flip 5 has a single dynamic driver that provides more power/ volume than it's predecessor, Flip 4. RMS is the wattage or indicator that shows the volume the speaker is capable of outputting. We've worked on improving stable wireless connectivity with our Flip 5 via Bluetooth technology.

- Answer Yes it can. Our JBL Flip 5 doesn't have a mic so you'll need to use the built-in mic from your laptop.

QuestionCan I connect multiple of these together? I want to be able to listen to the same music in multiple rooms without moving the speaker every time, but I want it to be playing on multiple speakers at once.

- Answer Yes, you can connect multiple JBL Flip 5 together and play the same music at once using the JBL PartyBoost. However, it's not recommended to have the speakers placed in different rooms as it may exhibit audio drop outs and bad connection due to distance and obstruction caused by the walls.

- Answer It would depend on your preferences. You may like our JBL Flip 5 which is the latest of our JBL Flip series, or our JBL Pulse 4 which has it's own lightshows while playing music, or go big with our JBL Boombox 2 instead.

- Answer It does not have a mic, so no. But if you are looking for pretty much the same speaker besides the partyboost, get the jbl flip 4 because it has a mic and you can use it as a speakerphone (go over to amazon to get the flip 4 for around $80-100)

- Answer JBL Flip 5 is not WiFi capable nor used to be connected to Wifi. It's a Bluetooth speaker that you can use to pair and connect with your devices that have Bluetooth such as phones, tablets, and laptops. The range of Bluetooth can go from 10-15 meters, please note that there should be a clear line of sight between the connected devices, blockages such as walls and other signals like WiFi may cause interference.

- Answer Press the bluetooth button (next to power button) then search for it on your mac and it should show up, connect and your good to go (if that doesn't work hold The volume up+play button until the speaker turns off / this resets your speaker) then connect it to your mac 1st and then your phone (apple id config is weird)
