• This is a powered subwoofer. No separate amplifier needed. As this is a subwoofer, you should pair it with IRX 108 or IRX 112 speaker.

• You need an amplifier. Is good for both but is much better indoor.

• Yes, it is powered with an internal amplifier. It can be used indoors and outdoors, but it is not weatherized to endure direct moisture.
