“I can not get my link view to connect with any other google smart devices. It acts as if it’s a stand alone unit. Why would google put they’re name on it if it’s not compatible. It won’t even work with another link view.”

I'm not sure what you mean by "connect with" other devices. These devices all connect through your wifi. You can use the Google Home app to set up "groups" to play music on several devices at once. You can also use it to broadcast messages to other google devices in your home.
