“I've already ordered this item. I'm hoping it has a USB port that will allow me connect as well as play my i-pod touch from it. Does the USB port play audio or is it just for charging?. If it does not allow audio playback, I may be returning it.”

Thank you for your inquiry. The USB port on this unit is designed solely for audio playback from a USB flash drive. It is not compatible with direct USB audio streaming from external mobile devices like an i-Pod.
