- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. You can use our JBL PartyBox Club 120 with the battery while it is plugged in. The battery has a PCM (Protection Circuit Module) and charge management IC built-in, that monitors and control the charging current. Once fully charged it will cut-off the current to protect the battery.
