3 I have 3 microphones ( 1 wired and 2 wireless connected with a dual output from the box. I found you have to connect the wired one for the wireless to work properly. I am not sure why maybe a wiring thing. still investigating, but doesnt really matter anyway except for feedback from the unused wired mike. just place it somewhere away from noise!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our JBL Partybox Encore Essential has 1 microphone input at the back of the speaker via a wired connection. Connecting a wireless microphone wouldn't be possible as this speaker doesn't have a mic input to connect a mic receiver/dongle.
