Q: QuestionCan these be used in a porch ceiling for a house on the ocean?

• A:Answer We do not recoemmend the JBL Studio 2 6IC to be used outdoors as it is not weather-proof. Exposing the speakers to the elements might damage the speakers. We suggest the JBL Control X as these speakers are all-weather indoor/outdoor stereo speakers.
