“Is there a way to turn down the background noise coming through when on a phone call? Whomever I am talking with says the background noise is very, very loud. Can this be adjusted in the app?”

Our JBL Tune 235NC headphones have active noise cancellation (ANC) feature which helps reduce background noise during phone calls. To activate the noise-canceling feature, tap your left earbud once. You can toggle between on, off, or ambient modes. With ambient mode, you can still hear some external sounds if you need to be aware of your surrounding. You can also adjust the ANC mode using the JBL Headphones App. For optimal noise reduction during phones calls, make sure the eartips fit securely in your ears. To achieve the best seal and a secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. You can also try different sizes of ear tips that came with the headphones to see if a better fit.
