A:AnswerProbably. I have used ATH M50x and they are ever so slightly bass heavy. The JBL's are more neutral and would probably work well. As with most headphones, sub bass is a crapshoot and needs to be checked in other ways.
A:AnswerOn many platforms you are able to adjust the audio output to only use either the left or right channel. I am unsure whether the headphones themselves can be set to only use one ear.
