Is the CD player front loading? null

Yes the CD player is front loading. The cassette player loads on the side which is a little awkward and inconvenient but I got mine primarily for the record player because I have a few LP's I wanted to listen to. I'm not technical AT ALL but this system was very easy to hook up and it doesn't take up much space. You get what you pay for so don't expect high quality sound; it won't deliver that. But if you just want something small for a bedroom, office or garage that plays CD's, records and tapes, this system might work out for you. Am glad I got mine.
