Must be a setting issue of some kind I guess. I’ve had a similar problem I’ve put them on and the ambient noise around me seems amplified. I can even hear myself breathing. I get rid of it but not sure it happens. Just play with the amount of noise reduction setting.

Hi there, the ANC active noise canceling helps cancel outside sounds for the user using the headphones. The ANC does not work for microphone you speak into. -JLab
