they apparently can survive a shower but not a pool. i haven't tested that and don't plan to - there are external bluetooth speakers that can easily handle a shower. the buds can hold a charge for 'up to' 10 hours, and the case can charge them 5-6 times from a full charge - so figure in the range of 50-70 hours of use on a single charge of the case.
