How long do they take to charge? Do they come charged? null

My earbuds came charged so I could use them right away. When I am not using them, I keep them in their case and keep the entire unit plugged into a USB port. I have used them for as long as 4 hours at a time, with no problem, but I thinks the specs suggest an even longer use time to be available.
