• I use both at same time as well as one at a time depending on what i am doing. Try "forgetting this device" in your bluetooth settings and repairing them. This seems to help.

• As with every other earphone, there is a left and a right one. You can still use them on any ear, but you can feel that it doesn't fit as well when you switch them.
