If you loose one will the other work by itself? null

I used one by its self and it worked how ever as far as phone calls go I don like it cause I have to use both of the and I think they are to big for my ears even when I changed to the smaller buds I think I want my money back for a better pair that fits better and when I use them for phone call they can hear when I use one ear bud
