Clear instructions are given in the packaging, but the button is a little difficult. You press the time on the right ear bud to raise the volume and once on the left to lower volume by one unit (operates as the volume on your phone/device, not independently). If you click too fast, you will activate Siri and if you hold in too long you will skip a track. I would honestly wait for the newer version that is being released in July. It will have touch sensors instead of a button, has a bit more volume, 3 different eq modes, and you will hear phone calls in both ears instead of just 1. It’s also only ten bucks more.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The earbuds each have buttons. Pushing one or the other a certain number of times or how long we push the button determines various functions. They include a little cheat sheet in the mini manual in the box to refer to until we memorize them all.
