I can’t get the left side to link with the right side null

Try power it off and then put it back in the case and give it a few seconds and then take it out, power it back on and then give it some time to pair with it each other. One of them will be blinking while the other is solid blue meaning that they are ready to pair with a device. Excuse my grammar :)
