• You just plug it directly in to any usb port or charger and it charges the case. The orientation doesn't seem to matter.

• It's basically half of a USB. You plug it into any USB port or Wall charger.

• It is not a iPhone charger. It comes with a micro USB charging cord. You have to provide a wall plug but if you have any cell phones you'll likely have a spare one
