No. I use the case as a storage for the earbuds and when the buds are fully charged the case stops charging them and acts as a normal case.

Which means if they sit in the case for 3 days they're going to be charging and discharging multiple times without being used. That's because when they reach lower battery percentage because of natural battery leakage, they will charge back up so you have a bouncing charge 100%, 98%, 99%, 100%, 98%, 99%, 100%, ad nauseam. If you've only used them for a few songs and they're in the high 90s, reverse their position in the case so they won't connect to the contacts and let them naturally leak power down to 80% 70%, then charge them back up for 20 minutes. I think the bouncing charge takes away their lifespan. Which is good for the earbud manufacturers!
