“What does in-line mean?”

• I believe it means the 2 earbuds are connected by a wire but the headset themselves have a wireless connection to the device.

• It means that you are able to control your volume and use it as hands free, if you have your phone set up for it. To more precise its the little remote that is attached to the earbud cable.

• So the In-Line remote is basically the big clunky thing that is dangling off of the cord on the earbuds. It allows you to change volume and stop and play music, videos,etc
