“Would this work with canon 740 hd powershot? Is it really sturdy? If i was suppose to install it in my car where would recommend driver side or by the rear mirror between the driver and passenger side. Thank you for your help.”

• I would not use it for anything other than a GoPro or Action Camera or a small point & shoot. The weight of your Canon 740 will cause vibration.
